Getting Started, Trial & Pricing

Experience everything Meccora has to offer with a risk-free trial. Whether you're running a small repair shop or managing multiple locations, getting started is simple. Explore every feature, import your existing customer data, and discover how Meccora helps streamline daily operations without long-term commitments or hidden fees.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes, 14-day free trial, full access, no credit card needed.

Is there a contract, or can I leave anytime?

No contract. Cancel anytime — you keep access until your current billing period ends.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. Checkout shows subtotal, tax, and total before you pay — nothing added after.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

No formal refund policy. The safety net is the 14-day free trial (no card required) instead of a
refund guarantee.

Whose name shows up on my card statement?

Eformics Systems (the parent company that processes payments via Stripe) — not "Workshop
Manager."

Can I try it out with fake data before touching real customers?

Yes — every new account is seeded with demo customers, vehicles, and services so you can
explore safely before adding real ones. A one-click cleanup tool wipes the demo data once
you're ready to go live.

Can I bring in my existing customer list, or do I start from zero?

Yes, you can import your current customers and their vehicles from a CSV file — no manual re-
typing needed.

What actually happens the moment my 14-day trial runs out?

You're locked out (data untouched) with an upgrade prompt. Nothing is deleted immediately —
you get warning emails first, and your data is kept for a while in case you decide to pay.

ACCOUNT & SUBSCRIPTION

Managing Your Account

Take full control of your Meccora account with flexible subscription management, billing options, and user settings. Find answers about upgrading, canceling, language preferences, data security, and everything you need to manage your workspace with confidence.

Can I cancel my account?

Yes — cancellation is built in and connected to billing: cancelling schedules your subscription to
end at period end and blocks login once it takes effect.

Can I upgrade my account?

Yes, self-serve, through the billing portal — pick a new tier, and the price difference is charged
immediately.

Can I pause my account?

There's no owner-facing "pause" button today. Suspension (which pauses billing with no
charges while paused) is currently an admin-only action, not self-serve.

Can I use multiple languages?

Yes — English and French are supported per customer, controlling which language their
reminder emails/SMS go out in.

Will my customers' data be safe if I ever stop using it?

Yes. If you cancel, your data isn't deleted right away — it's kept for a grace period in case you
come back, then removed later. Nothing is wiped the moment you leave.

CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT

Customers, Vehicles & Reminders

Build stronger customer relationships by organizing vehicle records, service history, appointments, reminders, and communications in one place. Meccora makes it easy to manage your customers efficiently while helping you deliver a professional service experience every time.

Can I manage the date/timing of reminders?

Yes. Each service auto-creates 3 reminder touches (30 days before, 15 days before, and day-of
the next service date). Staff can reschedule or cancel any individual reminder.

What is QR registration?

A QR code you print and place at the counter. Customers scan it, land on a self-registration
page for your shop, and enter themselves and their vehicle directly — no staff data entry
needed. It also counts as a valid consent method for texting them.

Can I create an invoice for a customer?

Yes, but it's not a payment processor. You can generate and print/email an invoice from a
service record (line items, cost, tax) for your records — you still take the actual payment on your
own card terminal or gateway.

Can I email an invoice to my client?

Yes — once an invoice is generated, it can be emailed straight to the customer's address on
file.

Are the emails/SMS CAN-SPAM/TCPA/CASL compliant?

SMS: yes — built with documented consent methods (verbal, web form, QR registration),
STOP/START opt-out handling, and formal carrier campaign registration with a live privacy
policy and terms page. Email: reminders are transactional (service due dates), not marketing, so
the strict marketing rules mostly don't apply — but there's no unsubscribe-link mechanism built
into reminder emails yet.

GROW YOUR BUSINESS

Revenue Generation

Discover how Meccora helps your workshop generate more revenue by reducing missed opportunities, improving customer retention, and automating follow-ups. From deferred work tracking to service reminders, every feature is designed to keep customers returning and your business growing.

How do you predict future/pipeline revenue?

Every service record has an estimated price (expected future job value) plus an actual cost
(what was charged). The dashboard rolls these up into a pipeline number — projected income
from upcoming due services and deferred work.

How does Meccora actually make me more money, not just organize records?

Three ways: automated reminders bring lapsed customers back before they go to a competitor,
the deferred-work tracker resurfaces declined jobs (real money customers said "not today" to),
and email marketing campaigns let you re-target old customers with offers.

What is "deferred work" and how does it recover revenue?

When a customer declines recommended work (e.g. brakes at $400), staff flag it. It shows on
your dashboard until you follow up and call the customer — often with a small discount to close
it. It's revenue sitting on the table, not lost — the system just won't let you forget it.

What about customers who've disappeared completely?

The system can surface anyone who hasn't been back in 6–12 months, so you can reach out
before they're gone for good — most shops never even notice this happening.

Does this replace me manually calling customers?

No — reminders are automatic, but the deferred-work follow-up call is still you or your staff. The
system just makes sure it never falls through the cracks; the human call is what actually closes
the job.
